Whilst the majority of our members will mainly paddle from the Riverside centre on the beautiful Thames, we also run lots of other events – in a non-covid year these might include a paddling & camping weekend at Eyensham lock; a trip to the south coast to paddle poole Harbour and Harry’s Rock; a trip to Lake Bala to mixup bushcraft and paddling skills; an early morning MayDay paddle to hear the choristers from underneath the Magdelen Bridge; a paddle free bush craft weekend with an impromptu Burns night, whisky tasting and Ceilidh. Several members become coaches, which includes more paddling skills, leadership and coaching skills, formal first aid training, and of course DBS checking.
